The following five vegetables, fruits and beverages are known to be the most valuable of all antioxidant foods and are believed to contain amazing benefits, not only for the body but also for your mind and mood.

Broccoli:
Topping off our list of essential antioxidant treats is broccoli. This cruciferous vegetable is well known for its nutritious minerals and vitamins. Jammed pack full of vitamin c and containing more calcium than a tall glass of milk, broccoli is truly one of the most readily available wonder-foods. This is one of the foods containing antioxidants  which you may already enjoy regularly and use often while cooking without even being aware of its nutrition and health advantages. Garlic has been shown to fight anything from harmful bacteria and fungus to high blood pressure and cancer. Just one small clove of garlic contains vitamins A, B and C as well as iron, calcium, zinc and magnesium! Not bad for what you may have thought was simply a flavourful ingredient!
